Yeah, this one I liked. The premise lets you know it's not as straightforward as it seems. And though the who isn't a big surprise, the why was kind of fun. The how quite diabolical and horrifying.
One irritating factor was the bystanders who all had secrets and were all very willing to let Thea take the whole rap.
All in all an entertaining read.

I could not read a whole book about a murdered baby. I read just enough to encounter the murderer and spot who it was. Apparently the plot gets twisty, but where I left off it was just depressing.

Am I Guilty? by Jackie Kabler is a psychological thriller and it's very difficult to say much about the story without giving away spoilers . In short Thea is told that she is to blame for what happened to her child , but she can't believe that she is capable of hurting her baby. As the trial comes upon her she slowly starts to realize that somebody close to her is keeping secrets which might end up destroying her life

This is a fast-paced plot, well-developed characters that builds to a high climax. I love the twist in the end that I didn’t see coming. Highly recommended.

I would like to thank HarperCollins , Killer Reads & NetGalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest and fair review.

Thea pushes her baby's pram to the school each day to pick up her older daughter Nell, just as millions of other young mums do every day. Only this pram is empty...
Thea's baby Zander tragically died and it was all Thea's fault, or was it?

Flora used to work for Thea as her personal assistant but left after Zander died. Flora is very sweet, good at her job and liked by everyone.

Flora now works for Annabelle as her personal assistant and also helps out with Annabelle's three children.

The story is told in alternating chapters from the POV of these three ladies. It's very well written and had me guessing right up to the very end. There is absolutely no holding back, it's shocking and there are many trigger warnings including abuse of animals.

I bought this book because I liked the summary and it had many high reviews but I’m not sure what is with me lately, as this is the second book in a row that I really didn’t like.

First of all I found it started out really slow and i was getting distracted by other things.thank goodness I leave my devices in another room when I read.

There were also so many narrators that it became confusing on who’s who that I had to go back to the beginning of the chapter to see who the narrator was. Which I found to be rather annoying

I think I prefer fast paced books where the rollecoaster of thrills starts within the first few chapters and this story didnt.

This book may not have been my cup of tea but after seeing so many great reviews you may enjoy it unless your like me and love fast paced psychological thrillers
